Maryland Open Team wins SE Regionals
Feb. 25, 2018 ~ This past Sunday, Kelly Well’s Maryland Open Team won the USPA I/I SE Regionals in Atlanta. As they played in the finals against West Shore, it should be noted that Maryland Polo Club was well represented with five junior members from our club. Playing for West Shore was Pelham Hardie, Louisa Huber, and Sarah Lynch. Junior members Parker Pearce and Brennan Wells play for Marlan Farm’s Maryland Open team. With an arena full of youthful talent from our area the finals were played at Jolie Liston’s bucolic Atlanta Regional Polo Center. In a torrential downpour during the last chukkar Maryland Open defeated West Shore to become the 2018 Southeast Regional I/I Champions! Congratulations to our Maryland Polo Club junior members for being the best youth players in our Region!
