2019 PTF Players of the Year
October 19, 2019 ~ Palm Springs, California ~ Three USPA I/I players from Maryland Polo Club were chosen as the 2019 Polo Training Foundation’s Players of the Year. Not only do these three youth players belong to Maryland Polo Club, they were also coached by Marlan Farm’s, Kelly Wells, throughout high school. Parker Pearce (Maryland Open Varsity/UVA ’23) received the PTF Russell A. Sheldon Male Interscholastic Player of the Year. Abbie Grant (Maryland Girls Varsity/St. Andrews University ’23) was awarded the PTF Female Interscholastic Player of the Year. Marissa Wells (Texas A & M ’19) was presented with the PTF Daniel J. Wallace Jr. Female Intercollegiate Player of the Year.
