June 23, 2019 ~ In the Finals of the Patton Cup West Shore/Red Maple (PJ Orthwein, George Hempt, Parker Pearce, Cindy Halle) defeated MacKenzie (Jake Brown, Nate Berube, Liv Berube/Laura Brown, Lila Bennett) Sunday morning. In a very fast paced game with 3 goaler, PJ Orthwein, leading West Shore/Red Maple up against MacKenzie with Jake Brown, another 3 goaler, the match opened up with scoring early on in the first chukkar. By the half West Shore/Red Maple had the lead and continued to carry their lead throughout the second half to win the match. Parker Pearce was awarded MVP for the tournament and Nate Berube’s “Blue Hen” was Best Playing Pony.
