I/I Open Nationals Winners and Awards
April 30, 2017 ~ Marlan Farm’s Open Maryland Polo Team won the USPA Interscholastic National Championship Tournament on Sunday, April 30th, at Cornell University. Two players on Maryland Polo, Parker Pearce and Brennan Wells, are both youth members of The Maryland Polo Club. On Friday, April 28th, Maryland entered semi-finals by defeating Gardnertown Polo from Newburgh, New York in the semi-finals. On Sunday, April 30th, Maryland defeated Houston Polo Club with a victory of 16-12. Parker was chosen to receive the tournament “Sportsmanship Award”, while Brennan was picked as a tournament “All-Star” player.
